Review: Hippo Says "Excuse Me" by Michael Dahl

SUMMARY FROM NETGALLEY.COM:
Hippo uses his manners to help a little chick.

For the youngest learners, this fun, cheerful read-aloud helps guide a child's first steps in learning and growing and promotes manners, recognition, speaking skills and first words. Good manners are pure genius!

Part of the Hello Genius series. Ages 2-4. Board book format.
MY TAKE:

This book can be described in one word: cute!

The story centers around Hippo and Mom as they travel through the streets. As the title suggests, Hippo says "Excuse me" as he goes about town.

It's a fun way to teach kids about manners, and the great thing about this book is that it's not preachy or unnatural. Hippo is also very cute, which will appeal to kids and moms alike.
